The Community Development Division is committed to improving the quality of life for low and moderate income residents by facilitating meaningful programs that address the root causes of poverty and involving all community stakeholders in the development and implementation of programs and projects.
Notice of Funding Availability
The City of Greenville’s Community Development division is currently accepting proposals from qualified organizations for the Program Year 2022 – 2023 for the Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnership program, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with HIV/AIDs (HOPWA) funding.
In accordance with Community Development goals and objectives, applications and proposals for eligible projects assisting low- and moderate-income citizens within the city limits of Greenville will be accepted. Proposals must comply with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requirements and criteria listed in 24 CFR Part 570 and 24 CFR Part 92 based on respective funding sources.
